In recent years, Chinese education has grown in popularity across the world, and as a result, many students from other countries have come to study in China. In this situation, Chinese universities are popular among international students, and there is a demand among international students to use Chinese academic libraries. Since international students use Chinese academic libraries and have diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds it is very vital that recognize their behavior in the quest for knowledge. Therefore, the study was aimed at understanding international students ’information-seeking behavior in Chinese Academic Libraries. The study is based on the Wuhan university international students and the purposive sampling technique was used to collect data. A survey method was used and questionnaires were used to collect data from the students. 250(N) were distributed among International students and students returned only 216(n) out of 250(N). The appropriateness of this questionnaire was tested through a reliability analysis. The data collected were methodically entered into the SPSS package for analysis. Descriptive statistics enable the selection of frequencies, description, and crosstabulation. The majority of international students studying in China come from various parts of the world. According to the findings of this survey, books and journals were the most popular resources utilized by students for class work and research material, respectively. Even though library usage patterns show that the library has not entirely transitioned away from book consumption habits. The primary informationgathering challenges faced by international students were also recognized. The majority of university libraries in China do not employ English as a medium for communication and, consequently, when using library resources and services, international students are encountering obstacles to communication. Therefore, Language, communication, cultural, as well as information literacy abilities, were among them. However, there is a need to promote Asian resources and have them published in non-Asian format since, despite their low reputation; most international students appeared to have high confidence in Asian resources as compared to all other resources.
