Information needs of school students of Delhi: A case study

The students of class 9th to 12th face umpteen challenges while preparing for higher education and competitive examination. This study aims to analyses and compare the information needs and preferred source of information of Delhi school students, studying in class 9th to 12th in Government and Private schools in Delhi. The students from class 9th to 12th standards of various schools have been selected in the present study keeping in view the fact that there is numerous information required for these students while preparing for Board Examinations, higher education, and competitive examinations. It was found in the study that competitive exams information followed by subject-related and class projects related information is the most needed information by both Government and Private school students.
