This study was intended to compare library structure laws in the US, Japan, and China. The primary comparison components are as follows: the legislative process, legislative models, law modification, comprehensive substance, and specific regulations. The paper summarizes some highlights on library structure law of the US and Japan fr o m t h e co n c u r r e n t d ev el o p m en t o f library structure law and library structure-related laws, legislates first, then continues to improve and guarantee the financial facilities of the library structure and detailed legislative content, to provide some references for the improvement of Chinese library structure law. The comparative study investigated and contrasted two or more items or concepts. Comparative research demonstrates how two topics are similar or how two issues vary. However, other scholars use the term to encompass comparisons of subcultures or other social substrata either within or across nation-states or other cultural and social boundaries.
