Use of Chatgpt in libraries: Optimising language model for library services

Abstract

ChatGPT is a natural language processing (NLP) feature that enables users to have natural conversations with a chatbot. It uses a deep learning-based language model to generate responses to user queries. ChatGPT is implicated to the context of conversations and generate appropriate responses. It can use the generate personalized responses to user queries, making it a powerful tool for library users, library service and other applications.

The analysing in help patrons with their questions. It can provide answer frequently asked questions, such as how to check out a book, how to renew a book, and how to place a hold on a book.

Libraries are different section the practical examples of libraries using different types of ChatGPT technology use in library different services. This study summarizes the diverse activities of ChatGPT circulation services, chatbot powered by ChatGPT that can answer their questions about library services, hours, and policies. It can help library staff to quickly and accurately identify the best resources to acquire, and to determine the best budget for each resource. Library automation technology that enables libraries to provide automated library users’ service.
