Bradford's Law of Scattering is one of the most widely applied bibliometric laws. This paper examines the journal citation cited by doctoral candidates at Panjab University, Chandigarh. To know how Bradford's Law of Scattering works, this study analyzed 56 doctoral theses that were available on the Shodhganga website up to 2022. There were 5794 references found in the 821 journals. The rank list of the journals was made, and College and Research Libraries came in first with 265 citations. Special Libraries came in second with 234 citations, and Library Herald came in third with 222 citations. The Bradford formula (1:n:n2) has been used to validate the data set. The Leimkuhler model was also used to verify whether or not the data set agreed with Bradford's law of scattering.
