The medicinal value of the herbal plants to fight Covid-19: A study based on bibliometrics analysis

Abstract

This paper evaluates a bibliometric study of the herbal plant and the herbal medicine published in a different research article and different journal. The publication data is retrieved from the individual journal from PubMed database from Dec 2019 to December 2021and a total of 308 articles was retrieved. Parameters like herbal plants' wise distribution of articles, medicines-wise distribution of research articles, journal-wise distribution of research articles, single, double, and multiple author’s wise distributions of research articles, research topics-wise distribution of research articles, country's wise distribution of research articles was analysis. The finding reveals that the herbal plant which is Ashwagandha published the highest no. of research articles and vasaka published the lowest no. of research articles. The herbal medicine which is Ashwagandha powder published the highest no of research articles and other side Thymoquinone published lowest no .of articles and the highest no of articles published by Gautam, A and lowest no. of articles published Samanta, M single and in 2020 highest no of the article published and china published highest no of article and Russia published lowest no of the article.
