Library websites are mirror of a library. It reflects the library collections, services, library activities, new announcement, e-resources access link and updated library news etc. Library websites are very important part of a library. It is the gateway of a library through online mode. The study evaluates the content of homepages of selected library websites of top 10 universities ranked by NIRF. The evaluation of library webpages content a web survey is conducted using a checklist. The study concluded that all selected library websites have given information on library print collections of books and journals and moreover all library websites have given information on e-books, e-journals and edatabases. Similarly, all library websites have offered Web OPAC and circulation services. The study recommended that all university websites should adopt SDI services. There should be provision of web 2.0 and web 3.0 facilities such as RSS feed, instant messaging etc. for the benefit of library user.
