The study explores the communication and collaboration patterns in Dr. Ajay Kumar Sood's publications. The complete list of research publications was extracted from the Web of Science (WOS) database, i.e., 431 publications. Many scientific indicators were used, such as year-wise distribution, authorship and collaboration patterns of publications, journal preferred, etc. The results indicate that Dr Ajay Kumar Sood published only five articles as a single author and 426 in collaboration, which makes up 98 percent of the total output. He has collaborated with more than 3077 researchers during the period under study. The Degree of Collaboration (DC) was 0.99, and the Collaborative Coefficient (CC) was 0.75. Physical Review B was the frequently consulted journal by Sood, having an impact factor of 3.908 with 54 articles.
