This study examines how well Sarathi, a cutting-edge cloud-based library management system created by a research scholar (Mr. Dhavalkumar A. Patel), meets the requirements of college libraries. There are frequent issues with traditional library management systems related to cost, scalability, and user-friendliness. Sarathi is a good substitute because of its lightweight design and use of Google Sheets. This study investigates the characteristics, functionality, and effects of Sarathi on library operations and information seeking behavior through an extensive assessment of the literature and case studies of its deployment in college libraries. The findings show that Sarathi improves information access, simplifies library operations, and encourages users to seek information more effectively. Its user happiness and cost-effectiveness measures also highlight its potential as a workable solution for college libraries. The results significantly contribute to the current discussion on library management systems and offer useful perspectives for software developers, educators, and librarians. There is also a discussion of recommendations for additional study and implementation techniques.
