Grey Literature Management at the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) Library, U.S.A: A Macarthur Foundation International Grant Research

This study is on the management of grey literature (GL) at the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) Library, with particular focus on Government information and Thesis. Survey instrument was used, it involved researchers participation and observation/interview on how to organize GL. The study found out that GL at SIUE library is acquired mainly through repository and gifts, and are integrated into different sections of the library. This genre of literature is managed by government information/cartographic Librarian and Users Services Director, and catalogued by special resources Librarians. The study diagnosed challenges in the organization of GL and how to resolve those challenges in order to ensure optimal access and utilization of grey materials.
