Use of Information Technology (IT) based services in the engineering college libraries

The present study aims at analyzing the use and availability of information technology based services in the engineering college libraries of Kurukshetra district. These libraries have computerized its in-house operations and provide IT based services to the students and the faculty members. This paper attempts to evaluate the services provided by these libraries in the IT environment and also finds out the user satisfaction based on a questionnaire survey. Three hundred questionnaires were distributed to the students, out of which 287 responses were received. The data analyzed indicates that students are partially satisfied with the library services.
