In a present scenario Job plays a very important role to develop any organization or institutions the basic objectives of the study was to find out the job involvement among the library professional working in universities of Delhi: A comparative study. Researcher randomly selected 150 employees of different six (6) universities and analyzed the data by using J.I.Q. Job Involvement questionnaire developed by Lodahl and Kejner (1965) was measured the level 1 of job involvement of library professionals. It also contains 20 items at 5 point rating scale. The major findings are the Job stability of male employees of GGSIU, i.e, 66.67% and female employees of GGSIU, i.e, 50% it is higher than other University. The satisfaction level of male employees of GGSIU, i.e, 50% and the female employees of JMI, i.e, 60% which is higher than other university. The personally involvement level of male employees of JMI, i.e, 53.85% and female employees of GGSIU, i.e, 50%. The attitude towards the extra duties of male employees of JNU, i.e, 21.43% and the female employees of JNU, i.e, 50% which is higher than other universities. The priority of work life of male employees of IGNOU, i.e, 50% and the female employees of IGNOU, i.e, 33.33%. This is higher than other universities.
