Abstract

The technology paves the way for smart phone to interact both positively and negatively with library RFID tags. In the present scenario we are being provided user empowerment through digital technologies. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a new generation of Auto Identification and Data collection technology which helps to automate business processes and allows identification of large number of tagged objects like books, using radio waves. The proposed system allows fast transaction flow for the library and also it can improve the traceability and security.

The last few years have shown a significant increase in the number of smart phone equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities. NFC promotes several technologies that will allow a user's smartphone to interact with a range of other devices in ways that further expand the smartphone's utility and proficiency.
