Stock verification in automated environment: A case study of Sahitya Akademi Library

The present article focuses on the procedure of stock verification in the library. This process not only identifies about the losses of the library but also gives a chance to rectify the wrong placement of books on the racks. It also provides an opportunity to redefine the library policy in terms of proper checking at the entrance of the library, borrowing of books, etc. It will prove to be helpful for any library going for checking their stocks.
