The paper is based on the critical analysis of citing articles in ‘DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology’ (DJLIT) published during 2010 to 2015. It includes the result from 342 contributions out of 36 issues. DJLIT has been selected for the purpose of content analysis since it is an international, peer-reviewed, open access Indian journal and is remarkable in that it keeps the library professional abreast of current upheavals in their field. The content analysis contains various decisive factors as research output in the form of papers, authorship pattern, content coverage, prominent authors, subject wise distribution geographical distribution, institution wise distribution, and average length of papers.
