Journal of services research from 2001 to 2015: A Bibliometric Study

The study presents the publication pattern of various researchers in the Journal of Services Research (JSR). Research Publications of over 15 years have been analyzed for this purpose, from the year 2001 to 2015. The collected data for the said period of study has been analyzed according to the journal volumes accordingly with reference to the contributors, references cited in each articles and length of articles. The study reveals that total 280 articles were published in the 33 issues of journal. Out of 280 publications 49 percent articles with double authors were published, 55 percent articles were from India and rest 45 percent were from other countries. The major contributors to the JSR were Vinnie Jauhari and Chihiro Watanabe. The findings of this study are meant to act as a guide to future contributors to the journal and also help researchers, authors and readers of the JSR.
