Household Level Food Security of the Agricultural Workers in Uttar Pradesh

In this study, an effortis made to bring out the clear picture of the socio-economic status of agricultural workers and their developmental opportunities and challenges in the era of globalization. In the present paper, the household level food security status of the agricultural worker of all the four economic regions of the State has been discussed for the awareness of policy makers in order to undertake necessary policy measures for the wellbeing of agricultural workers. The study reveals that agricultural workers across all economic regions, despite making all efforts, are facing the food crisis.
