Abstract

The Indian Journal of Labour Economics (IJLE) is a peer-reviewed and referred journal with a high repute which publishes empirical and authentic research in the area of labour economics under the broad coverage of microeconomics and macroeconomics. It features articles related to labour markets, demographics, labour policies and its reforms, demand and supply of labour services, industrial relations, personnel economics etc. The journal has completed 65 years of publishing and 25 years of Scopus indexing in 2022. The purpose of the study is to analyse the impact of IJLE, most significant publications published in the journal, most contributing authors along with their affiliations and the topics covered by the IJLE over the years, using bibliometric methodologies. The research results are represented using VOSviewer software, including co-authorship network, bibliographic coupling using authors, affiliated institutions and nations with which they are affiliated, co-citation network and co-occurrence network of authors’ keywords.
