Abstract

Non-descript cattle were screened to determine serum amino transferases viz. aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) during moderate and hot ambience. The mean values were 82.3±6.1 and 38.3±1.5 IU/L, respectively for AST and ALT. The mean values of both the enzymes increased significantly (P < 0.05) during hot ambience.
