A ten year old pure Gir bull of elite female had sustained mechanical injury at right testicle eight months back. The animal was treated with antibiotic oxytetracycline (long acting) @ of 10mg/kg of body weight for 10 days, Meloxicam @ of 0.3/kg of body weight for 7 days and pheniramine maleate @ 10ml (Total dose) for five days. The animal responded to treatment and local injuries which were cured by 15 days. The semen volume was not reduced considerably, however due to reduced spermatogenesis astenozoospermia, oligospermia were observed. The mass activity was graded as 1+. While the individuals motility was less than 20%. There was considerable change in the reproductive behavior of the bull. The reaction time and the refractory period had increase considerably. The hematological parameters did not show much variation except for WBC and platelet count. There was significant decrease in the levels of calcium and magnesium in case of the affected bull while the levels of glucose, total proteins and phosphorus fell in normal range. It was observed that the associated degenerative changes in left testicle could have resulted in poor reaction and semen quality in the affected bull
