Abstract

The European model of green revolution technology encouraged:

Encouraged use of high yielding seeds/animals and never bothered for erosion of our native germ plasm.

But it has failed to be sustainable and needs to be discharged owing to evils of this agricultural practice such as dependence on crossbred animals, heavy investment depending on few crops, unsustainable food system, high operating cost pollution of water, soil, air, vegetation and overall environment and not able to meet challenges of climate.

India as well as the world is facing a new type of unseen, unheard agriculture, health and environmental crisis which can be overcome by sustainable cow based economy model.

In the present paper analysis of this crisis has been described along with possible and sustainable cow based.
