Abstract

The aim of this study was to measure mental health among migraine patients. In order to realize the objective of the study, 60 migraine patients (30 male and 30 female) were identified for testing. Their age ranged from 20 to 50 years. These cases were selected from different hospitals and nursing centers located at Jaunpur (U.P.). Besides it, a control group (N=120) was also randomly constituted for the purpose of comparison with migraine patients. The MMHSI (Kumar & Thakur (1986) was used for measuring mental health of both the groups. Analysis of data revealed that migraine patients possessed significantly poor mental health in comparison to the control group. The results are properly discussed and interpreted.
