Innovative and sustainable armagreen® slopes- A case study in Himachal Pradesh

Govt. of India through National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has taken up the work of “Four Laning of Solan to Kaithlighat of NH - 22 (now NH-05) from Km. 106+139 to Km. 129+0.5 under NHDP Phase-III on EPC mode pattern in the state of Himachal Pradesh”. Different systems with integrated solutions were proposed by Terre Armee to suit the site conditions. This paper highlights the innovative techniques adopted in the project in terms of design and the construction methods which arise at a few of the chainages.
