High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geomembranes have been commonly used to line water storage ponds and reservoirs for several decades. The paper presents an evaluation of high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane material that is used to line a wastewater containment in Thailand. After 10 years of service and exposure to the tropical climate, geomembrane samples were exhumed to evaluate for their physical property integrity and engineering performance. The laboratory test results presented in this paper demonstrate that after 10 years in active service, HDPE geomembrane liners are working in their desired function and performance under exposed condition.
