Abstract

The result of field experiment conducted to know the response of hyacinth beans to organic and inorganic sources of nutrients revealed that integration of organic and inorganic sources of nutrient in equal proportion was good for getting highest plant height (33.75 cm) and number of branches per plant (28.28) compared to other treatments with organic alone or inorganic alone. This treatment plants had also higher number of pods per plant (40.27) and higher individual pod weight (8.38g) with higher vegetable pod yield per hectare (15.05 t). However least number of days was taken for first flowering in treatment receiving entire nutrients and inorganic fertilizers 33.25 and 38.50, respectively.
