Guava is fifth largest fruit commodity of the world, which is grown throughout the tropical area of India but the excellent quality of guava is produced in Allahabad region of UP (India). In guava three flush occurred in tropical region among this mirgh bahar is showed excellence quality of fruit which is harvested in December to January. There is very short storage life of guava that only for a week which causes hurdle for long distance transportation by considering this aspect it is very importance to enhance the shelf life of guava. Research is planted for enhance of storage life of guava through per-cooling (pre-cooling for 10°C for 8 hours and without pre-cooling), packaging (LDP pouch of 200 and 400 gauge of 1.2% vent and without vent) and storage (10°C, 12°C and 15°C in cold store) and resulted that its help to improve the shelf life up to 26 day's and the chemical parameter (Reducing sugar, Total sugar, TSS, Acidity, Ascorbic Acid and Firmness) and physical parameter (Physiological loss in weight and days to taken for ripening) study shows that pre-cooling at 10°C for 8 hours, packed in 200 gauge polyethylene without vent and stored at 10°C was found to best during storage.
