Abstract

The field study was carried out in poly house of Instructional-cum-Research Farm of Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, Latur during the year 2010–2011. There were significant differences found in growth attributes viz weight of central head, diameter of central head, volume of central head, number of leaves per plant, yield attributes viz total yield per plant and yield by the foliar application of micronutrients. The maximum weight of central head (202.31 g/plant), diameter of central head (10.45 cm), volume of central head (306.75 cm3), number of leaves per plant (19.42), total yield per plant (376.30 g) and yield (27.49 Mt/ha) recorded by the foliar application of boron @ 0.3% and ammonium molybdate @ 0.05% and maximum height of plant (56.98 cm) was significantly influenced by the foliar application of boron @ 0.3%.
