Abstract

The investigation was carried out in poly house of Instructional-cum-Research Farm of Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, Latur during the year 2010–2011. There were significant differences found in nutrient uptake in leaf by the foliar application of micronutrients. The highest uptake of N (3.15%), P (0.35%) and K (1.35%) was recorded due to the foliar application boron @ 0.3% and ammonium molybdate @ 0.05%. The highest uptake of boron (14.48 ppm), molybdenum (11.77 ppm) and zinc (60.14 ppm) observed by the foliar application of boron @ 0.3%, ammonium molybdate @ 0.05% and zinc sulphate @ 0.04%, respectively.
