An Investigation was undertaken on carrot var. Kuroda to study the effect of different organics on growth and root yield of carrot. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with 16 treatments replicated thrice. The results of the experiment revealed that all the growth and yield parameters such as plant height (cm), root length (cm), root diameter (cm), fresh and dry weight of root (g plant−1), root to shoot ratio at 30, 60 days after sowing (DAS) and at harvest and finally total root yield (t ha−1) at the time of harvest were improved significantly with the application of groundnut cake (50%) + neem cake (50%).
