Effect of cane regulation on berry character, quality and yield attributes of Flame Seedless and Sharad Seedless grapeswere studied at Indian Institute of Horticultural Research Hesserghatta, Bangaloreduring 2014–2015. The vines were halt at thirteen different nodes levels in a randomized block design with five replications. Results revealed that, maximum berry weight (3.18 g Flame Seedless and 3.38 g in Sharad Seedless) berry length (20.49 mm Flame Seedless and 25.98 mm Sharad Seedless) berry breadth (18.63 mm Flame Seedless and 17.42 mm Sharad Seedless) 50 berry weight (169.62 g Flame Seedless and167.76 g Sharad Seedless) and berry volume (4.68 cc Flame Seedless and 4.49 cc Sharad Seedless) TSS (22.97°brix Flame Seedless and 22.38°brix Sharad Seedless) TSS/acid ratio (35.17% Flame Seedless and 62.53% Sharad Seedless) lower titrable acidity (0.43% Flame Seedless and 0.36% Sharad Seedless) whereas, the maximum reducing sugar (17.46% Flame Seedless and 17.95% Sharad Seedless) total sugars highly influenced by (T1: 18.20% Flame Seedless and T5: 19.41% Sharad Seedless) bunch weight (398.09 g Flame Seedless and 419.72 g Sharad Seedless) bunch length (27.20 cm Flame Seedless and 26.21 cm Sharad Seedless) bunch breadth (19.07 cm Flame Seedless and18.65 cm Sharad Seedless) yield per vine (12.42 kg Flame Seedless and 13.71 kg Sharad Seedless) yield tonnes per hectare (23 t/ha Flame Seedless and 24.58 t/ha Sharad Seedless) best performed was observed in caneshalt at 4 node 1sub cane 1 budin Flame Seedless whereas, canes halt at 6 node 1sub cane 1 bud in Sharad Seedless among different cane pruning intensities, all cane regulation treatments were superior compare to no. halting straight cane.
