The field experiment was laid out in randomized block design with seven treatments with different dates such as 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th September 2015 and one without notching which replicated three times. The result of the investigation indicated that among different dates of notching quality attributes like fruit size, length and breadth, weight and volume of fruit, fruit setting and biochemical attributes such as TSS, acidity, total sugar found superior in 1th September date of notching followed by 5th September over other dates of notching. Due to notching there is increase fruit yield due to increase in the fruit set percentage and reduction in fruit drop percentage. In present experiment, regarding to quality aspect found that fruits mature earlier; it produced fruits with more total sugar and TSS than without notching.
