An a field experiment was carried out during 2014–2015 at Main Horticultural Research and Extension Centre, University of Horticultural Sciences, Udyanagiri, Bagalkot with 5 treatments i.e. T1-Gibberellic acid 0.001% L 120 ml/ac, T2-Gibberellic acid 0.001% L 180 ml/ac, T3-Gibberellic acid 0.001% L 240 ml/ac, T4-Gibberellic acid 0.001% L 180 ml/ac (Standard check) T5-Control. Among the treatments T2-Gibberllic acid 0.001% L @ 180 ml/ac bunch dipping at 30 days after forward pruning and at match head stage has found beneficial in order to get higher bunch weight (245.33 g), yield per vine (15.98 kg) and yield per ha (34.79 tons). Also it was found superior in respect to quality parameters. Increasing the concentration of GA3 beyond 180 ml suppressed the expression of the studied parameters and was comparable with its lower dose of 180 ml/ac. Therefore to obtain higher yield and better quality of grapes application of GA3-0.001% L @ 180 ml/acre twice at 30 days after pruning and during match head stage may be recommended.
