The present investigation consists of thirteen Okra hybrids and the experiment was conducted during kharif 2015 in randomized block design. The data were recorded for seventeen characters to study genetic variability, heritability, genetic advance and correlation coefficient analysis. On the basis of mean performance highest pod yield per plant was exhibited by the genotype OKHYB-10 (559.74) followed by OKHYB-09(483.41), OKHYB-04(385.85), OKHYB-01(361.47) and OKHYB-02(315.64). Analysis of variance revealed highly significant difference among 13 Okra hybrids for all characters, indicating the existence of high variability. High genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) and phenotypic coefficient variation (PCV) was observed for coefficient of YVMV, severity of YVMV infestation, FSB infestation on shoots, YVMV infestation on plants, fruit weight per plant, average fruit weight. High estimates of heritability were observed for days to 1st appearance of YVMV, YVMV infestation on fruits, FSB infestation on shoots, pods per plant, seeds per fruit, severity of YVMV infestation, fruit weight per plant, plant height, average fruit weight, fruit girth, fruit length. High genetic advance were observed for fruit weight per plant, YVMV infestation on plants, coefficient of YVMV infestation, plant height. Genetic advance as percent of mean was observed on coefficient of YVMV infestation, FSB infestation on shoots, severity of YVMV infestation on plants, FSB on fruits, fruit weight per plant, pods per plant, average fruit weight, seeds per fruit. Correlation studies revealed that fruit yield per plant at genotypic and phenotypic level was positively significant correlated with average fruit weight, pods per plant, fruit girth, fruit length, plant height and seeds per fruit.
