It is a moment of great pride for the whole fraternity of forensic medicine and toxicology in India. A new flower has blossom in the form of first issue of Indian Internet Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology in the garden of the wonderful specialty of forensic medicine and toxicology.

The present era belong to cyberspace, e-commerce and e-governance. The whole plethora of information and knowledge is available at the click of mouse. Majority of scientific journals are switching over to online from physical form due to quick assess, retrieval and cost economy. Looking at the tremendous advantages offered by the online journals, ICFMT thought it prudent to start with the first online journal of forensic medicine and toxicology in our country by any scientific/academic organization. The journal shall be following international guidelines for online publication.

It is hoped and prayed that this endeavor of ours will be among the best rated journals in the specialty of forensic medicine and toxicology not only inIndia but also globally. The editorial board assures you that they will not leave any stone unturned in getting this journal of yours indexed in the shortest possible time. However, the success of any venture depends upon the support and encouragement of peers and well-wishers.
