Abstract

In the present research paper, we have developed an optimal method for dosing organic fertilizer, Plant Catalyst, (PC) to reduce stunted growth and increase overall yields in paddy cultivation. The method of dosing PC was optimized across many places in southern India and at various stages of paddy cultivation. Addition of PC at 3 liter/acre, right from preplantation stage, subsequent addition was found to be most appropriate dosage volume to effectively remove stunted growth and to achieve an overall yield improvement by ∼ 20 to 30%.
