Abstract

Eleven muskmelon cultivars were analysed for nutritional parameters viz total soluble solids, sugars (total, reducing and non-reducing) and protein content. Among all the cultivars, Mau 5x-HM appeared to be nutritionally superior in respect of T.S.S. (13.13), total sugar content (15.75%) and non-reducing sugar content (12.50%) whereas highest reducing sugar content was exhibited by strain NDM-21 (4.52%).
