Abstract

Five compounds were isolated from the leaves of petroleum ether extract of Nervilia fordii by silica gel column and recrystallization. These compounds were identified through spectral analysis (IR, UV, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, MS) as lupane-17-(29-propylol) (1), octacosanoic acid (2), 23-lanostene-3-alcohol (3), 22,24-cyc-loartenone-3-α-p-hydroxy-cassia-acid (4), Hexodecanoic acid (5).
