The physical adsorption of glucose on barium sulphate crystallites in aqueous neutral solution was investigated by spectrophotometric method. The variation of the equilibrium concentrations (C) with the amount of glucose adsorbed (X) fits nicely with Freundlich- Langmuir isotherms.1,2,3,9
