Abstract

In the present investigation, we have synthesized a novel series of 2[(benzalamino-4-hydroxybenzyl) (1,3,4)-oxadiazino[6,5-b]] Indole derivatives (V). The synthesized compounds have been characterized by IR,1HNMR and their mass number by Mass Spectroscopy. Further, the synthesized compounds were screened for Anti Convulsant activity by 4-Amino pyridine chemical induction method. The results showed that, compounds were significant (p<0.0001) there by showed a promising Anti Convulsant activity. Compounds

V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V8, V9, V10, V11, V13, V14, V15, V16, V17 V19, V20, V22, V23, V24, V25, V26, V28, V29, V34, V36, V37, V40, V41, V42 showed potent activity(p<0.0001), when compared to the standard drug Phenytoin.
