Abstract

We celebrate the “World Enironment Day” this month, Let us save the Environment by saving the Tiger. A Tiger is not just a tiger, it is a food chain pyramid with tiger at the apex. Each tiger requires 10,000 sq miles of territory with herbivores, insectivores including the vegetation. Thus, more tiger means more green territories. A Tiger's life is fascinating, let not tiger become another DODO in the Museums.Let them survive “Tiger, Tiger burining bright as said by a Rudyard Kipling”.In 1900, there were 40,000 tigers in India and now in 2010 only 1411 allive. Can we afford such a crime during the lifetime.
