19 species of long-horned grasshoppers (Suborder: Ensifera) were collected from different habitats viz. forest area, agricultural field and open grassland. The species belong to 17 genera, 9 subfamilies, 4 families and 2 superfamilies. Most of them were collected with light trap method using mercury bulb.
