Abstract

Five selected strains of bacteria were used for the degradation of insecticide cypermethrin. The five bacterial colonies selected were Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter, Klebsiella and E. coli. E.coli was showed maximum tolerance compared to the other strains. Degradation of cypermethrin was confirmed by HPLC analysis. Protiens were separated by SDS PAGE technique.
