Optimal Distribution of The Active and Reactive Powers by The Method of The Genetic Algorithms

The application of the genetic Algorithms (GAs) in the calculation of the optimal power flow simplifies more difficulties of the problem. In this case the mathematical aspect is based on the analogy of the physical and biological processes. This new approach reduces the complexity, which is generally encountered, for the resolution of the optimization problems. The combination of the decoupled method and GAs obtain a new calculation algorithm of the optimal power flow. This new approach is more powerful and effective and will be described in this paper.
