Abstract

This paper proposes the algorithm to repair 3D artifact/model for which no data is available for the missing part. It presents an efficient healing algorithm that exploits information about the curvature (k) versus arc length (s) of the neighborhood point cloud data available around the missing part. The k-s information of the missing part is estimated using this information of the neighboring regions. After getting k-s information about the missing data, Intrinsic LINear Curvature Element (LINCE) Model is used to calculate the x-y information of the missing part.
