One of the factors of a nation's development is the sweep and the quality of its constructions. From then, the laboratory's work on the modified bitumen aim to improve the bituminous binders’ properties for the settling of new bituminous covering formulas of surfacing layers in low thickness offering better performances for lower coasts. We've studied the bituminous coverings’ behaviours under compression, this for determining the influence of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) on the bituminous coverings’ performances, especially the characteristics “Compactness”; “Stability” and “flow”.
We state that, the modifications by EVA have no deal on the bituminous concrete's compactness. However, it enables a profit of stability as well as an increase in the covering's flexibility.
