Abstract

The flexural strength and deformation characteristics of RC beams plated with Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) FRP composite at tension zone were studied on nine specimens having dimensions 150 x 250 x 3000 mm. The results indicated that FRP plating resulted in increased flexural strength and better load deformation behaviour.
