Abstract

Recently IDMA has attracted much attention in the area of Wireless Communication, in which interleavers are used as the only means for user separation. But in Wireless Communication fading problem is a major impairment. This paper presents a simple diversity approach in interleave-division multiple-access (IDMA) to mitigate the fading problem. The scheme explains maximal ratio-receiver combining (MRRC), with one Transmit antenna and two received antennas for IDMA. Scheme may be generalized also for single transmit antenna and 2M Receive antennas.
