Abstract

With the introduction of restructuring in the electrical power industry, theprice and availability of electricity has become a primary issue forparticipating entity. The paper emphasizes the possibility of generatingelectricity in space by using solar cells in satellite. This paper compares suchideas and concept on the basis of economics and feasibility of implementation.The paper further discusses various technologies for improvising theperformance of the system.
