Abstract

This paper presents the results of experimental investigations in which statistical methods are employed to predict the mathematical model of four components of concrete containing fly ash as filler. The Statistical response models are valid for the mix made with constant w/b ratio 0.36 containing upto 300kg/m3 of flyash as filler, 200 to 500 kg/m3 cement as binder and a high range water reducing admixture (HRWR) dosage of 2% by mass of binder. Fixed volumes of coarse aggregate and fine aggregate were employed to ensure adequate stability. The mathematical model predicts accurate results of compressive strength of HVFA for the respective ages.
