Abstract

A new pulse stretcher circuit is designed, tested, simulated in VHDL and used in the Mini Array Laboratory, Dept of Physics, Gauhati University. This circuit has been used for the measurement of coincidence as well as efficiency of detectors. The Laboratory has been detecting cosmic ray pulses for the last two decades. This pulse stretcher circuit is associated with a new type gaseous detector known as resistive plate counter (RPC).
